The estate

Great wines are always produced out of vines that are at twenty years old.

The main goal of our viticultural work is to preserve our vines as long as possible. But down the path, dying old vines must be replaced.

Our most widely planted variety, Grenache, strongly suffers from mortality. We replant wines every year.

Sometimes, even recently planted young vinces do not make it because the entire plot is totally exhausted.

Such vineyards must be completely pulled ou and rest for at least six years; it will take another generation for this parcel to produce great wines again.
